Well, we've had an incredibly lovely first Christmas with our little Joey, which included hosting our first ever Christmas dinner for multiple family members at our new house after 'the big move' earlier this year. Joey kept everyone entertained whilst we worked hard on the food, which all went to plan and was a roaring success!
The New Year period is always a bit like marmite for people, and for me it's usually a bit of a blue period where going back to work seems like the worst thing in the world.
But not this year. My boss is something of a character. Yes he demands all my time, and I'm always there when he needs. But his gummy smile and cheeky personality keep me clocking up long hours!
This New Year, I've not really made any 'resolutions'. No one sticks to them anyway! But, I have decided to schedule in regular 'me' time, along side regular 'sensory box' time. It's hard juggling family life and a home business, but when Mums and Dads send photos of their little ones enjoying their boxes, it's incredibly rewarding and fills me full of joy.
So, what's on the cards for The Sensory Box Company this year? Plans roughly include further improving our boxes, be that the contents, the guide or simply branding, we're onto it! We'll also be launching a competition very soon, so keep your eyes peeled! And we'll be putting together some videos for Mums and Dads out there who want to learn a little bit more about sensory play.
